Common Name: Lavender Cotton Bush
Description: Santolina chamaecyparissus is a low growing, tough, slightly spreading, evergreen shrub which forms a compact mound. The foliage is small and silvery in colour and produces yellow button flowers on stems above the foliage in Spring and Summer. Can tolerate drought and frost once established. Commonly used en masse or as a contrast in a mixed garden bed.
