Description: Limonium perezii is a hardy evergreen perennial, salt tolerant, drought tolerant, frost tolerant with a clumping growth habit. The star of the show are the clusters of flowers atop stems that grow from the rippled green foliage. The flowers are white but the prominent blue/purple colouring comes from the calyx. Sepals (collectively called the calyx) are modified leaves that encase the developing flower. Often used in mass plantings.
