Common Name: Bay Tree, Miles Choice
Description: Laurus Nobilis Miles Choice Bay Tree has been specifically bred to maintain a more compact and dense habit than the original Bay Tree. It is drought tolerant, salt tolerant and produces yellow flowers between September to October. Miles Choice prefers a moist well drained soil in full sun through to partial shade. An effective slow growing hedging/screening plant that can be kept clipped from 1-4 metres or left to grow into a medium sized tree. Its dark green leaves provide an ideal backdrop for other plants and when dried the leaves are used in cooking.
