Common Name: Hydrangea White Ball
Description: The Hydrangea macrophylla White Ball is a medium sized, hardy, deciduous shrub. In Spring the buds begin to form while the lush green foliage develops. By Summer the foliage and blooms are fully developed with large spectacular white ball like flower heads in abundance. The white hydrangea is unlike other hydrangeas in that they stay white in any soil pH. This plant is ideal for adding colour and interest to shady garden beds and its flowers are great for cut flower arrangements. Protect it from the hot sun, strong winds and it prefers moist humus rich well drained soil.
