Common Name: Hills Fig/ Ficus Flash
Description: A compact growing form of Ficus hillii with emerald green foliage and lighter green new growth. The Ficus 'Flash' is planted in parks and large gardens for shade or as a specimen tree. It works well as a hedge and can be used for topiary. It is also used as a container plant when young and establishes in two to four years. Its roots will block drains and lift paving so care should be taken when planting out.
