Common Name: Wild Iris/ African Iris/ Cape Iris/ Fortnight Lily
Use: Wild Iris is grown for its clumping habit and attractive flowers. It has dark green, strappy foliage, which grows in fan-like rosettes. In spring it produces white, yellow and mauve, iris-like flowers on tall stems. Mass plantings make a spectacular display. Great in borders, along a wall or fence, or planted near the edge of a pond or other water feature.
