Common Name: Agapanthus orientalis 'Alba', African Lily
Description: Agapanthus is a clump forming plant from dense fleshy roots with strong, arching, strap-like, dark green leaves. These plants produce vibrant globes of tubular white flowers atop 1m long, erect stalks in early summer. They are excellent border plants and also go well in amongst shrubs; though beware their ability to spread. Will thrive in almost any conditions, will tolerate cold and dry periods once established. Remove dead flower stalks and leaves to keep tidy.
