Description: The Golden Wattle is an evergreen tree, with masses of large golden ball-shaped flowers brightening the bush and gardens in late winter to early spring. The Golden wattle is used as an ornamental shade tree for parks and reserves and attracts birds, native butterflies and insects. It is Australia's national flower.
