Common Name: Burgundy Willow Myrtle

Description: An attractive Australian native feature tree, ideal for planting in parks and gardens. It suits street-tree plantings or use as an informal screening or as a wind break. Attractive new foliage has a strong burgundy colour. The narrow leaves are dotted with pellucid oil glands which have a fragrance when crushed. It has a graceful weeping presence and small tea-tree like flowers in Oct - Nov.
