Common Name: Red Leaf Photinia
Description: Photinia robusta is a hardy, fast growing evergreen tree. It has dense dark green foliage with bright red new growth. Produces clusters of small white flowers in late Winter to early Spring with a red fleshy fruit following. It's ideal for hedging and screening or as a speciment tree. Photinia's thrive in most soil types and positions but for best results enjoy well drained soils and full sun. They tolerate dry periods and frosts and even coastal conditions.
