Common Name: Queensland Brush Box

Description: The Queensland Brush Box tree is a native evergreen, fast growing rainforest tree with a dome like shape. It has a dense cover of leathery dark green leaves with white fluffy flowers in spring and summer. Prized as a street or specimen tree, it is hardy and rarely troubled by pests or diseases. Prefers a moist fertile, well drained soil, but can deal with poorer soils. It tolerates smog, drought, heavy pruning, poor drainage and rarely drops branches. Moderately frost tolerant once established.
