Common Name: Coastal Banksia

Description: Coastal banksia’s leathery foliage is an attractive dark green colour with silver reverses. Large lemon yellow flowers are produced from autumn through winter to spring and are nectar rich , which attract wildlife. The flowers are followed by the iconic fruit. Coastal Banksia is used as a windbreak in coastal plantings, small gardens or for screen planting in borders.
