Common Name: Mexican Lily
Description: Beschorneria yuccoides is a clump forming evergreen perennial succulent with long sword shaped foliage which forms from a neat rosette. In spring a tall flower spike emerges which can reach 2m high and has masses of pink flowers making a stunning attraction in the garden.
Although it has a ‘tropical look’ this is a fairly hardy plant will cope with cooler climates. Will tolerate drought and frosts once established, good in coastal conditions. Although drought tolerant, they will grow much better when watered and fertilized regularly.
