Common Name: Camellia Hiryu
Description: Hiryu's grow vigorously to a tall, bushy shape and are an excellent garden addition. The foliage is dark and glossy and the blooms are a single to semi-double and deep pink in colour. The Hiryu prefers well drained, slightly acid, fertile soil and needs to be mulched well to keep roots moist and cool in summer. Ideal for screen, hedging, large containers and espaliers. It will grow in full sun and thrives in morning sun or part shade.
