Common Name: Acacia Limelight

Description: The Limelight is a compact or dwarf  form of Acacia cognata and makes a stunning foliage plant all year round with its graceful weeping foliage. It will produce small ball shaped yellow flowers in Spring, but it is most noted for the rounded growth pattern. Though it is a tough plant it can be prone to root rot in humid climates, it is at its best in the southern states. The naturally dense growth habit is great for deterring weeds and is low maintenance.
