Common Name: African Lily
Description: Agapanthus is a clump forming plant from dense fleshy roots with strong, arching, strap-like, green leaves. These evergreen perennial plants produce vibrant globes of tubular blue/purple flowers atop 1m long, erect stalks from November through February. They are excellent border plants and also go well in amongst shrubs; though beware their ability to spread. Will thrive in almost any conditions, will tolerate cold and dry periods once established. Remove dead flower stalks and leaves to keep tidy.
