Common Name: Bearberry Cotoneaster
Description: The Cotoneaster dammeri is a vigorous, dense, low growing groundcover with trailing stems that grow small, leathery, round dark green leaves. The foliage turns a bronze/red in Winter, greening up in Spring, with small white flowers coming in late Spring to Summer with berries arriving in Autumn. An excellent groundcover for borders, beds, slopes, rock gardens and cascading over walls. Prefers well drained soils and is considered drought tolerant once established.
