Common Name: Kangaroo Paw

Description: Bush Sunburst a vibrant Australian native valued for its striking golden-yellow flowers that rise above neat clumps of slender green foliage. This hardy plant typically grows around 50–70 cm high and 40–60 cm wide, making it ideal for garden beds, borders, or containers. Flowering from late winter to early summer, it adds long-lasting colour and attracts birds to the garden. ‘Bush Sunburst’ thrives in a sunny position with well-drained soil and is tolerant of drought and light frost once established. It is a robust, low-maintenance choice for landscapes or pot displays. For best results, remove old flower stems and leaves at the base, apply a small amount of slow-release fertiliser in autumn and spring, and water only when the top of the soil or potting mix has dried out.
