Berberis thunbergii 'Little Favourite'

Common Name: Japanese Barberry

Description: The Berberis Little Favourite is a deciduous, hardy, compact, low growing shrub with spiny stems. Produces small pale yellow flowers in Spring, followed by rich reddish/purple foliage and an abundance of red berries. In Autumn the leaves turn to a blend of red and orange. Prefer moist but well drained soil, can deal with frosts. Good for low hedge or border and in pots.
