Common Name: Knobby Club Rush, Knotted Club Rush (formerly - Isolepis nodosa)

Description: Ficinia nodosa is an evergreen native tufted sedge that features upright green thin cylindrical foliage, cream flowers in Summer and Spring with spiky dried flower heads in Winter. A versatile addition to the garden as it can be grown in wet or dry soils, ideal in plantings around water features, ponds, and dry creek beds. Excellent filtration bed plant that also grows well in free-draining sandy soils. Prefers a full sun to part shade position, is drought and frost tolerant.
