Common Name: Argyle Apple or The Silver Dollar Gum
Description: This evergreen native small to medium sized tree has a rounded habit and fibrous reddish brown bark. The foliage is aromatic, with young leaves being a silvery blue/green colour and rounded. As the leaves mature they become long, narrow and are more mid-green in colour. Spring produces clusters of white flowers. This is a tough tree and can tolerant a variety of soil types, can deal with light frost and drought once established. Useful a s a low maintenance feature tree or pruned to create a hedge.
