Common Name: Kangaroo Paw
Description: A compact, medium-sized plant that forms a bushy clump and produces masses of bright red flowers over a long period, primarily in spring and summer. Ideal for Mediterranean climates and patios, it attracts birds and serves as a great cut flower. For optimal growth, plant in well-drained soil and sunny spots, feeding with slow-release fertilizer in autumn and spring. Remove old stems and leaves close to the base, and water only when the top of the potting mix is dry. Its dramatic display is enhanced when planted in multiples.
