Common Name: Trident Maple
Description: The Trident Maple is a slowish growing deciduous tree with an upright growth habit and an oval to rounded canopy. Foliage is small, triangular and tri-lobed. The new Spring leaves are copper/bronze in colour, maturing to a dark green in Summer and finally to yellow then orange then red in Autumn. This hardy tree is tolerant of a wide range of conditions including semi-drought and infertile soils. An excellent choice for parks and gardens in urban areas.
