Hibbertia scandens

Common Name: Snake Vine/ Climbing Guinea Flower

Description: Hibbertia scandens is an Australian native groundcover/climber meaning that is very well adapted to the extremes our weather can throw at it. It is frost, drought, wind and salt tolerant. It produces large golden-yellow flowers for most of the year amongst dark green glossy leaves on twining stems.  Hibbertia scandens more often known as a groundcover as opposed to a climber, however with assistance to climb proving a trellis or something similar, it can reach up to 5m in height.
