Common Name: Silver Banksia
Description: The Silver Banksia is useful as a garden plant for coastal situations. It's ideal as an informal hedge, screen or windbreak. The narrow leaves are linear and the yellow inflorescence (flower spikes) occur from late Summer to early Winter. The flower spikes fade to brown and then grey and develop woody follicles bearing the winged seeds. Tolerates drought and frost.
